2001 Boxster S trouble starting in cold

Hi everyone, I have a 2001 Boxster S with 130k. Have had great luck with it. However, for the past 5 or 6 years when the temps dip below 50 (thankfully I am in South Florida), the car will not start. The starter cranks, but does not turn over. After giving it a good 5-6 cranks for 10 seconds or more, it will finally turn over and run normally. When it warms up outside everything is fine. Last night, the temperature dipped into the 40's, and I could not get it to turn over. Any ideas?
