  1. I left for vacation and returned to find my battery dead also. One day sitting in the car with the ignition key out, I heard a clicking. Came to find out the passenger seat adjustment control was stuck. Move the control back to off and no more battery issues.
  2. New throttle body installed. Now time to road test for a few days to see if the problem is solved. crossing my fingers.
  3. I ordered a new throttle body today. We'll try that. It's cheaper than a new ecm. Hope it fixes the problem.
  4. I have a 2005 997 Carrera manual trans. The throttle peddle suddenly stops working occasionally when starting off or even driving down the road. When it happens, I have to take my foot of the peddle a reapply gas and it takes off again. No codes are coming up. I bought and replaced the gas peddle and it's still doing it. I did take it to the dealer and it did it to them while test driving it. I hate to dumb money into it trying all kinds of fixes. Has anyone had the same issue?
