  1. I have to replace Front Inner CV joint (cage broke and damaged splined hub). Is this CV joint the same part number as the rear inner? I was hoping to change only the joint parts and not the entire axle shaft. Or, does anyone have used Front Passenger axle shaft for sale? 996.349.038.10
  2. 1999 C4, IMS bearing original, Tiptronic Engine never been out of car. I never have oil dripping on my driveway.Slight signs of wetness at the wire exit point of CAM position sensor, tightened against this grommet seems to fix it. I can smell burnt oil when I push it hard around town even though I never see leaks. This tells me there is some small lead somewhere. Suspect is bad AOS? I did my first open track day at New Orleans Motorspeedway (was a blast) but after my 3rd session the bottom of engine was full of oil concentrated on the Driver side. Sprayed up all over rear bumber. Oil level still full. Sprayed it all off at carwash and today at home it seems to be back to normal, no signs of leaks or drips on driveway under normal driving. Could this have come from bad AOS or some other overflow point during hard cornering at the track?
  3. Thanks for all the input but all negative. Fuses good. Still no seat memory function with buttons or key. Key will not open and close windows. No lights when I open the doors. Any other ideas? Could all of these items be turned off in the control unit?
  4. 1999 Cab4, memory and heated seats (memory buttons do not work?) Can the Seat Backs be swapped from driver to passenger. This is to keep any additional wear on Driver side leather where it is about to break down. I know entire seat can not due to motors and switches but was not sure about the backs only?
  5. 1999 Cab4 Tiptronics with navigation (missing CD) Can someone tell me if the following is normal or if I can change: Memory seat buttons do not work. When I open the door from outside, interior lights do not come on. (If car is running, open door I get interior lights) Key in door lock will not roll windows up or down as I have seen in some posts. Can this function also control the top? Mine will not. When I turn off and remove key, dash display of odometer reading stays lite for some time. I am about to remove door panel to change window regulator. Is it best if I disconnect battery to keep air bag from going off? What will I loose by disconnecting battery?
  6. 1999 Cab4 with power heated memory seat. Can I swap the Front seat back sections driver side to passenger side. Due to wear and tear on the driver seat I would like to install the back portion onto the passenger side. Will the wiring work? Is there trick to removing just the back portion of the seat?
