  1. After all my investigating, I finally replaced all of my coils and plugs and the cayenne is running much better without any errors. I also have an EVOM tune and was wondering if anyone knew a way to reset the adaptation so that it will work better with the new coils and plugs.
  2. I replaced the PVC pipe and so far no CEL codes so that must have been the problem. I am still getting rough driving since my evom tune but I think it was related to my coils. I have 59,000 miles on the car and when I removed all the coils, they are all the first gen model .00 and all had a crack going through them. I am surprised that I have not gotten a misfire code because of this yet. I have .09 coils coming tomorrow to replace them along with new spark plugs so I will see if this will ultimately fix the problem.
  3. Does anyone have an idea how much it would cost to get the metal belows replaced on this strut. I am waiting to here back from the dealer but want to make sure I am getting charged a fair price. They said maybe 30 minutus to an hour repair. That that sound about right.
  4. That is what was broken and bent outwards. I removed the sharp ends that were close to the rubber air spring so that it would not puncture it. Is this something I can wait awhile to fix. What would happen it the air suspension bag where to get cut.
  5. I believe it is number 13 in your picture, if that is the metal shield that wraps around the air suspension.
  6. I have a 2004 cayenne turbo and noticed some clunking under the drivers side wheel well. I looked underneath and noticed that the metal cover that surrounds the air suspension was cracked and bent outward at the top. I have no idea how this would have happen. I went ahead and bent off the pieces that were bent up against screws and the air suspension so that nothing sharp was touching the suspension parts. Is this something I should worry about continuing and should I get it fixed sooner than later. Thanks. Martin
  7. I have a 2004 cayenne turbo which recently had a ecu tune performed and my vehicle has been throwing the codes P2189/2187 too lean at idle bank1 and 2. I initially was also getting a code for a leak between the MAF and throttle body in which I found a cracked crankcase hose and fixed that. The codes came back and then one time it was associated with the EVAP code. So I went ahead and replaced the EVAP. The code is again coming back. I did notice that my coils are model 104.00 so they are very old and have never been changed. The car recently has also been studdering alot if the boost is increased too much which sounds like coil or spark plug problems now that the ecu tune is streessing the coils. My plan is too replace the coils and plugs with the newest ones but I was hoping someone might have some insight if the P2189/2187 code could also be related to failing coils and plugs causing a lean condition at idle. I also have had CAI on the car for over a year and never had those codes come up until recently. Thanks.
  8. Everyone, I am looking into a secondary bypass pipe for my 2004 cayenne TT and was looking into FVD bypass pipes. Anyone have any experience with these as they have a different shape to the others avaliable and wondering if there is an advantage over the ones by fabspeed, leistung, sharkworks etc, given they cost more. Thanks.
  9. I have a 2004 Cayenne turbo and am hoping that someone might have the wiring diagram for the taillights as I am trying to identify which wire goes to the reverse light so I can wire up a reverse camera. Thanks. Martin
  10. I have been replacing my interior lights with LED's and notice that my middle light in the front over head lights (the cluster of three next to the homelink buttons) that is suppose to go on when the doors open does not work (with either the standard or LED bulb). The lights next to it which you can turn on for the passenger or driver work fine but that middle light in that 3 light cluster in the front overhead does not seem to work. Is there a fuse that could have blown specific to this light. I would appreciate anyones advice and help. Martin
  11. My subwoofer is not working and I believe that it might be the amp is bad. It has number 416007 amp 100wsr autobahn printed on it. Would anyone know where to get a new one. Thanks. Martin
  12. I am in the process of installing an alpine Ina-w910 navaigation system into my 2004 cayenne turbo and would appreciate any advice of those who have done this install before on where did you run the wires and mount your sat nav and gps antennas in these cars. I would also be interested in if you installed a rear view camera, where did you decide to run the wire through the vehicle. Thanks. Martin
