    Congrats on your purchase and I hope you enjoy your car. I agree that the cars are so complicated anymore, but honestly I found programming the garage door opener was actually easier that some of the basics. I hear that there is a PDF version of the owners manual on this site which I hear makes searching easier.

    I have a 2008 Carrera S Cab and the option exists in the PCM but I choose not to use it.

    I'm only on number 4, Carrera S Cab., and still loving the brand.

    Are you still having this problem? My 06 Cayenne S has a similar sound, reminds me of a belt whinning on older US cars, that also seems to change with throttle and brake input. Porsche dealer could not pinpoint and have not had enough probles to take it back. We ave 66k miles by the way.
