  1. Thanks bigbuzuki! Located under the dash on the driver's side (US). Relays are on the top of the relay support. Support must be released by depressing a couple of tabs and pulling the support down to get to the relays. Would have taken a picture, but I wanted to get it together so I would not have to drive my wife's car to work again tomorrow. Thanks again for the help. LittlePorsche
  2. Wow, have I stumped the forum? I was hoping to install the compressor tonight, looks like I will have to dig for the relay. I do remember hearing the "click" when the compressor started and stopped. Seemed to be coming from the dash area in front of driver's seat. If I find it I will document it for the next guy. 3. I have a 2006 Cayenne S with the air suspension. I am replacing the compressor with a new Wabco unit from Arnott. Appears I paid too much, but I got it the next day. With the compressor, they have supplied a replacement relay that they insist must be used to avoid "damage or void warranty". I have it, so I would like to install it. However, I have searched the forums and can not find any reference as to the physical location of this relay. Owners manual only wants a Porsche technician to work with the relays, so it has provided no help. I did find a table that shows the number as L3, but give no hint as to where it is actually located. Can anyone point me to the physical location of this relay? Thanks, LittlePorsche Miami, FL
  4. Cut off two of the spade connectors to the cornering light and the ground for the light and used shrink tubing. Replaced the ends. Just taped the others until I can come up with a better solution. Lenses are beginning to yellow again. Polished about a year ago. May just have to break down and spend the money on new lights. Anybody have a deal on them? LittlePorsche
  5. Has anyone seen this before? I have a 2006 Cayenne S. Had left cornering light warning. Went to replace the bulb and found the wires inside the headlight assembly had deteriorated. The insulation was crumbling on most of the wires inside the headlight housing. I had noticed flickering for the last couple of weeks. Could this have been the root cause of the problem? See attached pictures. Any suggestions as to how to go about fixing this? Have not found this harness available (only the one on the outside, or the one for the headlight). Thanks, LittlePorsche
  6. Thanks for the replies. I am researching devices to allow my iPhone to work through my audio system. Dennison refers to a "gateway", so when I saw that indicated on the component I was curious as to it's purpose. Regretfully (possibly only in this case), my Porsche experience is limited to 993 Cup cars that I set up for Club racers years ago, None of those had audio systems. This is something new to me. Could you direct me to any information that would help me understand what I have in my Cayenne and what is the best way to acccomplish my goal of iPhone conectivity? Thanks again.
  7. I was in the process of fixing the high pitched squeal of my AC blower motor and found a black box attached to the back of the glove box. It carries the Porsche part number : 955.610.107.02. The word "gateway" intrigued me and am just curious as to what this is. It was found on my 2006 Cayenne S. Thanks
