Thanks @hahnmgh63, @mudman2, Is it possible for me to send the ECU somewhere for me to code (according to the VIN) and just having to plug it back into the car once its done?

Hi, I have a 2006 Cayenne 3.2L. need to be having my air compressor replaced. I understand that the part number is 955.358.901.01. However a search reveals another air compressor for the Cayenne but seems to be associated with 04 models. Part number is 7L0616006c. The difference from the pics seems to be the bracket and that the latter seems much cheaper, $2xx as compared to $7xx. But can anyone tell me if the air compressor is the same? Thanks in advance Gijster
