Hi Loren, I managed to resolve the issue today. What happened was that the cable which I pulled to test whether or not it worked. got stuck and did not return to its original position. Once I dismantled the unit(latch) the cable returned to its original position with a click. The DIY that you sent was indeed useful in guiding me to correctly dismantle the unit. Hi, I am a newbie here and this is the first time I am posting a question. I have just completed the hack for rerouting the hood/bonnet cable. I manually pulled the cable to test if it worked and indeed it worked. Unfortunately, now the hood which worked perfectly fine before I manually pulled the cable, won't close properly. Any view or advice is much appreciated. Thank you
