  1. I want to install a Hands Free BT kit with A2DP streaming for my CDR 30. The only product I found is this: http://www.discountcarstereo.com/BLU-BKR235.html It indicates that: 1. Works in Porsche with: Becker Traffic Pro, Mexico CD Mexico CD (7803, CC4325, CC4327, CD4337, CC4370), CDR-22, CR-210*, CDR-210*, CR-220, CDR-220, CDR30 (CQ-JX0770G), My question is: How can I find out if my CDR30 is model CDR30 (CQ-JX0770G) without removing it and checking the back of the unit? Has anyone installed this product on his Porsche? Any feedback regarding it?
  2. After years of research I finally managed to get a preowned Boxster 987-2 MY09 2.9 PDK. The previous owner was not 100% about the key code label was from the Boxster. The label he gave me can be seen in the pictures. The local Porsche Dealer could not verify that the label is from this car. Can anyone confirm that this label is similar to what Porsche gave with similar cars?
  3. After failing to sell my current car (the EOS) I decided to trade it. The cleanest 987.1 I can find is this: http://www.car.gr/classifieds/cars/view/3082211/ http://www.car.gr/classifieds/cars/photos/3082211/ It is a base 2.7 Tip., early MY05, with a few options. The good thing is that it is a Porsche preowned approved, which means it has a 1 year Factory Warranty, new tires (Conti Sport Contact 3) and clean history and mileage. However, the IMS and RMS issues I have been reading about in the forums are scaring me. The Dealership dos not consider the above as real issues and I very much
  4. Hi people! I am still looking for a 987. What is you opinion of this vehicle? http://www.car.gr/classifieds/cars/view/2419019/ http://www.car.gr/classifieds/cars/photos/2419019/ The trim level is almost what I want. (PCM 2.1, leather seats, rain sensor, Xenon, nice wheels) The 2 things that get me thinking are the Tiptronic and the PASM. I would gladly trade them for a set of parking sensors (remember this is Europe). -Regarding the Tip, on the pro side, it appears that it could be better for the engine and the reliability record of this engine/tranny combo is said to be better.
  5. Thank you for the replies!!! I really do appreciate your time and opinion. I will give you some more details about the market. The 986 models range from 8,000 euros to 25,000 euros, depending on the MY and conditions/mileage. MY05 to MY07 987s start from 17,000 to 30,000, again depending on the condition/mileage and optional equipment. The specific car I am interested in is as you can see from the pictures a well equipped manual. It started a few weeks ago at 21,350 euros and is now 19,400 euros. I am pretty confident I can get it at 17,000 euros cash! I went to the local Porsche
  6. Dear Sirs I am a new member in the forum and I would like the opportunity to introduce myself! I am Fotis from Greece and I am considering getting a MY06 Boxter 987 2.7L. I have a specific car in mind. You can see a few pictures here: http://www.car.gr/classifieds/cars/photos/1967762/ What I like about the car: Optional equipment includes Rain Sensor, CPM 2.1 DVD navi, Xenon lights, black leather seats, park sensors. What I do not like about it: It first circulated in Germany in late 2005, and entered Greece in 2007. It practically never entered the official Porsche dealer sy
