  1. I have my perfectly fine PCM 2.1 sitting in the closet if you're interested. Pls. send me a PM. I replaced it recently with an aftermarket HU. Thanks N
  2. So my indy shop has told me there is a small leak of coolant in my 06 V6 Cayenne. Was the Porsche Corporation recall only for the V8's or does it include the V6 as well. Does someone have DIY instructions on replacing the necessary parts. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  3. Yes I ended up getting the one from eBay and then drilling out a little more. I didn't install the camera but shop said they had to do some work getting the camera in. Sorry nothing is easy with this beast! :-)
  4. The BOSE interface module is included with the Dynavin N6 purchase. AS far as the DAB and TV is concerned...I wouldn't know anything about them as I am in the States. Any backup camera from Ebay will be work. Just buy one that is for Toureg or Cayenne and it is a CCD not a CMOS camera unit. good luck
  5. If you want OEM look go with Dynavin N6. Alpine and Kenwood decks have more features but look very much aftermarket. Dynavin costs less as well. Take a look at the rennlist trail of comments on the Dynavin.
  6. Welcome to the Dynavin club. My GPS antenna from Dynavin works good but not as good as the factory so I am in the process of extending the GPS connection from the seat to the new head unit. The GPS connection is female so you'll need a male connector on o e side of the new extension Fakra cable. If you want to talk further pls PM. By the way, is there oily residue ear the buttons of your Dynavin unit?
  7. Dear Bobo83, This is what I understand but I hope someone else out there can correct me if I am wrong. The antenna wire never makes it to the center console as it is finally connected to the DVD player under the passenger seat. Remember the vehicle communicates via the MOST link so the GPS antenna does not need to be connected to the PCM unit. The GPS antenna itself is in the rear spoiler. Which new head unit did you get? I recently updated mine to a Dynavin N6.
  8. If you have a DVD player under the passenger seat then that is whee the GPS antenna is plugged in. Strange huh? But my 2006 has it there.
  9. Mine is also broken. I have a 2006 V6 Cayenne with dark brown wood grain. Thanks
  10. Check with a local dealer. By the way his price is not great. I am able to price it at $734 for my 06 Cayenne V6.
  11. Update: My Dynavin N6 was defective and JandT distribution replaced it with overnight shipping. The new unit works like a charm.
  12. Okay all, I got my new N6 unit. I had it installed by Newport Auto Sound. The unit looks and feels beautiful. I even installed a reverse camera. Now for the bad news. The unit worked for only 5 minutes. After changing the time the side buttons and knobs no longer work. The touch screen part works fine but all the buttons and knobs are not working. I updated the firmware and Jeff from JandT is aware but I am seeking my Rennlister's advice if they ran into something similar. By the way, I found out that my Cayenne only had a head unit w/o amp. Is that even possible? The guys at Newport Auto Sound were also surprised. Therefore, they did not connect the fiber cable into the new Dynavin just the Most box. For 5 mins the Dynavin looked amazing. I truly think this unit is great but I just need to figure out my issue of the buttons not working. Anyone experience this?
  13. By the way, when I pulled the the PCM unit out last night I noticed that nothing is plugged into Port I. Is my GPS antenna plugged under the passenger seat DVD drive?
  14. I do not have a turbo. I have the base V6 2006 and furthermore, the bulb is functioning fine. I just get the error message.
  15. You're awesome kbrandsma. Is it possible to talk with you on the phone sometime?
  16. Hi I am having this issue as well. Is this the part number for the socket? Item #10? from the diagram below. Part Number: 95563113301
  17. awesome...I installed the mic just like yours and the other party hear me fine. Still waiting for the Dynavin unit.
  18. Did you pry the headliner out a little to get the wire in? I am always hestitant on messing with the headliner. Thx
  19. Still waiting for the Dynavin unit. Let me ask you about your mic placement. Where is a good place to put it. Previously with my mObridge unit I had it on the A pillar. People always complained that they could not hear me well so I am seeking a new spot. In my BMW GT the mic is embedded in the ceiling and people can't tell that I am using a Bluetooth connection. Of course it's a 2013 model.
  20. SO to confirm. Just unplug the black GPS antenna from the i PCM 2.1 and connect the same to Dynavin as the new Dynavin N6 has the fakra connection? Thank you again for being patient.
  21. Yes I am aware that the GPS antenna is in the rear spoiler but where does it connect to the PCM unit? I would lime to use the same GPS antenna to connect to the Dynavin unit. Thanks
