  1. Thanks Loren, I looked at the site and it is being looked at buy my boss and he will sign up and download the necessary diagrams. Really appreciate the info. Jim
  2. As I have not had a reply to my last post I am not sure it really posted or not so I am trying it this way Jim
  3. Loren, it is a 3.8 Carrea the first year 2008 or 2009. Hope this is more helpfull. Also what other harnesses do we need to get from the junk yard and what other boxes. The rear harness we have now is from a 2005 C2S the ECU is PT# 0 261 207 987 date 04-06-25 Type #997.618.601.01. The 2008 ECU is PT# 0 261 207 981 date 08 02 14 Type# 997.618.601.05. The wiring diagram we have is for a 2005 Carrera, the engine side of the harness and ECU match as also the engine plugs. Is the 2008 ECU pin out the same? Still need a wiring diagram for the car. Thanks Jim
  4. Loren my name is Jim Olson I work for Hasselgren Engineering in Berkeley, I am in the process of making a wiring harness to run a 997 cup car engine on the dyno. I am having to build the harness from street car harness's we have the rear harness, the ecu, the throttle pedal, the key switch and a box marked M5X. I read and copied the two pin out diagrams you posted for a fellow a while back and used them plus the rear harness diagram we have. The engine side appears to match pretty much, but the car side, plug 4 only matches about 60% differences in the pin locations and wiring colors especially for the throttle pedal, I also don't have the pedal connector so I can not wire it up. My problem is we don't have any thing for the car side forward of the rear side connectors so I have no idea what or how much of the car side things I have to use, bypass, or jury rig. HELP, writing this for your input please Jim
