  1. The spoiler allegedly raises automatically when speed exceeds 75mph...yet the light on my switch only comes ON when I manually hold it down? Where am I going wrong? or is the "auto deploy" a $500. option I failed to notice?...thanks.....jb
  2. Loren: Good to know...have a 987 MY 07, 21Kmiles: never had the "bar" drop between oil changes....after last Oil chance, took a high speed, (triple digit) long distance run through the twistys of the back country....next oil check, down a bar....good to know Porsche says a quart in 600 miles is "acceptable"....Cripes, in college, I'd fire my 57 Ford if it burned oil like that....jb
  3. MY 07, 987, 17kmiles: Warning light started on/off routine...check tire pressure with GOOD gauge, tires right on the money. Warning comes on again,...can't access the tire size, etc menus....Dealer says batteries in TPMs are going south, $1200 for 4 sensors....Anybody have an alternate solution? The dealer can't/won't "disable" the warning....19" wheels, checked frequently...Suggestions?...thanks...Jim.....Thanks Phillip...I know its a hose over...only Dealer within 120 miles, and not sure the local "exotic" indie can pull it off...Another Federal MANDATE that burdens the public.....no question the "direct" measuring is the most accurate, but the cost of dismounting the tires because a battery is crapping out?..Spoke to one supplier, said the sensors are literally bulletproof..they are totally encased in kryptonite.....what a rip.......thanks.....jb
