  1. You won't find "harsh" anywhere on this forum. If you truly need "harsh", buckle on your flack jacket and drop in on a Viper forum. They'll tear you to shreds just for saying "hi"...
  2. I know this is an old thread, but it should be pointed out to the OP that the word "Porsche" will be positioned lower on the bumper if his/her car was ordered with "Model Designation Delete" than it normally would if the model designation had originally been present and then removed. If he/she already realizes this, then I apologize for the redundant information.
  3. Apologies but that almost seems like a 4/1 joke! LOL maybe a timeshare on tow trucks is a good idea for people with no-spare-cars. No kidding! Seriously, who the heck would ever do something like that to their beautiful 911? You'd have to be so afraid of a flat tire that you'd be driving a military-grade Hummer instead of a 911
  4. I've seen threads on the Bose that claim if you turn off all of the processing modes and just run it in straight stereo, it actually sounds better.
  5. I love the "50" look. The shiny window trim, the engine grill, and especially the wheels. Not so much the two colors, though...
  6. I was looking at CPOed 911 Ss. Now I'm concidering new Carerras as well. I wonder what effect the new ones will have on used 911 S values/residuals...
  7. Does Porsche have a web page for downloading firmware updates? I solved this problem on my '11 VW by downloading an interface update from VW's page that they maintain just for this purpose...
  8. No one keeps their car forever. As a current Porsche shopper, I can tell you that an aftermarket setup will detract from your car's desireability/value...at least with some people. JMO...
  9. Normal? Cold tires? Really? I've never heard of anything other than 1) a limited-slip differential issue, or 2) too much/not enough Ackerman effect in the front suspension, causing something like this. What other whacky surprises does Porsche ownership have in store for me?
  10. While you're looking around at aftermarket LSDs, check out WaveTrac. It's similar to the Quaife, but without the drawbacks...
