  1. Sorry I forgot to write what car I have. It is a 2001 911 turbo.
  2. I found this plug which is not connected to anything. It is located under the dash right by the airbag module. Need help trying to figure out what it connects to. Thank you in advance.
  3. Loren, Thank you for your reply. Yes I think the unit has been replaced under warranty so its not the one it came when the car was new. I did remove the pcm and gave the dealer the serial # off of the radio. There are two serial numbers. One from Becker and one from Siemens. The dealer could not get a code from the siemens s/n but they gave me a code from the becker which is not working. I also called becker and they gave me the same code as the dealer. The unit is asking for a pcm code so im thinking it needs the code from siemens but I don't know where to get it. The dealer says there are two many digits. Siemens serial # is P08040064648/03 Becker serial # is Y5007409 and both becker and dealer gave me code 3209 2001 911 turbo pcm model 2582 Sorry for the long story. If you know a way to resolve this please let me know. Thank you very much.
  4. Jon, Did you ever get the right code or did you have to buy a new pcm? Im having the same problem you had. The code the dealer gave me from the serial # off the radio is not working. Thank you Eric
  5. That's a great idea. I'll let you know if I'm successful. Thank you. Hi Philly, Thanks for your response. I took the car to a local authorized Becker dealer but they said the PCM is not made by Becker. The CD changer in the front trunk is made by Becker though. The Becker dealer thinks the PCM might be a Bosche or Siemens product. I am back at my local Porsche dealer talking to the service manager. I also called Porsche NA and they want me to call them back if my local dealer is unable to resolve the problem. Thanks for your help. Jon
  6. Hello Loren, Lost radio codes for the pcm nav unit from my 01 911 turbo. Dealer gave me the codes for the pcm and nav but for some reason the unit will not accept it. code the porsche dealership gave me for the pcm is 3209 and for the nav 1182. The Becker serial # is Y5007409 and model # is be2582 There is also a Siemens serial # which is p08040064648/03 Is 3209 the correct code? Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
