  1. Hello everyone, I hope someone out there can point me in the right direction. I work on my own cars, so I think I can handle minor issues on this car, but obviously not proficiant on Boxsters. I have made adjustments on the top end, replaced both carrier bearings and replaced the exhaust, not to mention the basic required maintenance. Sunday, I uncovered my baby and drove her out of the garage. About a mile down the Freeway, she suddenly lost power. Seem to be an electrical issue to the engine. It stopped abruptly. If it it were a gas issue, it would have been a gradual shut down. All of the other systems seem to be on line. Electrical power to the cockpit were on line as well. I waited for about 15 minutes and she started up again I noticed, the check engine lightwas not on. I got off the nearest exit and made a u turn, taking side streets, and she died again. This time I had to call a tow truck. Weird scenario, but I'm hopeful someone will read this and will give me some suggestions and where to start. Some research is pointing to the crank sensor?? Thank you for reading my cry for help. I would appreciate whatever you can offer.
