  1. Hi can you tell me what was the milleage when you have to replace the pad? did you replace both front and back? did you replace the sensors also? and lastly where did you buy Centrics pads from. Mine is 2013 diesel with 15K miles and it look pretty close worn out from visually inspection. Many thanks
  2. I just did my oil change yesterday. I just want to share my experience with Mitty Vac. It was extremely easy. I warm up the car and park the car with the front tilt down on my drive way. I got pretty much close to 8 litters out. My first 5k oil change was done under the hood ( I have a 4 post lift) and it took me 45 minutes. But with the Mitty vac took me 30 minutes. I also send out to Blackstone oil analysis for this oil change 10k miles intervals. I will posted once i have it. I also have an 2011 Audi A3 TDI with 95K miles and i do all the maintenance myself and it is very simple. I really don't know with all the fuzz with porsches 5k Intervals. I think they just want our money. For Example, Adblue from auto zone is $13 for 2.5 gallons and you just pour it in with the spout that came with it. Why pay them $100 for Adblue fill up. Oil change cost less than $100. It is all the BS . Just my 2 cent.
  3. Yes, I have this problem on my 2004 S with 90K on it. But I ordered the shaft from Sunset Porsche at $800 and replace it my self. Very straight forward, you have to drop the exhaust system down and replace it. It take about 1.5 hours. Car is good as new. I did look at other alternate solution from bearing only and after market but decide to go with OEM because it not a lot of price difference and not worry about vibration from unbalance shaft.
  4. thank you for your respond. would you be using the Kruser bottle to fill up and cut the bottom so it can be use as a funnel to top off with generic Urea solution from walmart or Autozone? Around here $10 for a 1 liter. and we need 5 gallons to fill up. Do you think is it ok to use the generic solution? Many thanks TDI
  5. I just got a 2013 diesel and I start thinking about adblue process already. Oil change would be very straight forward. But I am cluesless on the Adblue. Do we top off every 5K oil change or 10K?, Do I buy the first adblue bottle Kruser (spelling?) and Used it as a funnel to fill up the rest because I going to buy 2.5 gallon from wall mart Blue Def for $12 to fill it up. And lastly, do I have to reset anything through Durametric on Adblue? It is a wonderfull car but the idea of service every 5k is a lot of time at the dealer. I would appreciate that anyone could help me on this.thanksTDI
