  6. When i use the physical key to turn right 90 degree, it does not unlock. It locks fine when i use the physical key to turn left 90 degrees. Pls help. Car: Porsche Cayenne 957 Tip 3.6 (year 2008)
  7. hi, where can i buy this T10 light socket ? i think they are the same one used at side marker , low light (at the top of the front turn signal), & side mirror courtesy light . Car: Cayenne 957 Tip 3.6 many thx !
  8. Update: i got error on dash "check front side light" so, i fixed the parking light inside a half inch PVC socket (for domestic water piping ,without thread, grey color). then, i put the parking light together with the PVC socket inside the bumper behind the parking light housing. that eliminates the error on dash. i didn't want to use the load resistor, because the load resistor can get very hot, it may cause damages also it is potentially dangerous to cause fire.
  9. Thanks Loren. i have removed the T10 bulb in the "parking light". Engine running for a few minutes, so far no error code in dash. i plan to convert the T10 bulb to function either as DRL, or welcome light during unlocking car (or both, needs a bit more work on wiring and relay).
  10. Car: Cayenne 957 Tip 3.6, year 2007 i am thinking to replace the bumper light (above the turn indicator) with the LED type. will it give error in dash ? how to remove the bumper light ?
  11. Symptoms: When the car parks under rain (even if not driving), the headlight will get moisture / fog inside, and water droplets visible on the inner side of the lens. When i remove the headlight to check, there is water "flooding" inside the headlight. That can cause more damages to the electrical things. Suspected problem: The rain water drains towards the headlight between bonnet and fenders. The headlights seals are bad, the rain water seeps into it. A workaround solution: To remove the rubber covers so that the rain water does not flow towards the headlight anymore. Result: There is no more water "flooding" inside the headlights for the moment. However, there is still foggy/moisture visible inside the headlight. This is a temporary solution to avoid "water flooding" that may cause damages inside the headlight. Thank you.
  12. every time when i start the engine, the air-compressor (for the air-suspension) runs for about 47 sec. is this normal ? how long does your air-compressor run ? i ask the Porsche Center, the service adviser tells me that, once the car stops, it will release some pressure in the system. when start the engine, it will re-charge the pressure to certain level, and that is normal to have the air-compressor run for a while. i am skeptical. is it true ? Please tell how long your air-compressor runs, so that we have some numbers here. thx. Vehicle = Cayenne V6, 3.6L, year 2007
  13. i removed the headlight and found that the internal wiring harness is cracking very badly. is the replacement internal wiring harness available from Porsche ? thank you. my VIN ; WP1ZZZ9PZ8LA07096
  14. after a few months, it finally triggered the ABS error message on the display. it was the bad wheel speed sensor. after replaced, everything is good now.
  15. my car is Cayenne 2007, 3.6, V6. after some driving and parking (when the engine is still hot), when i start the engine again, the speedometer gently goes up to 150 km/h, then after i release the brake pedal, it gently goes down back to zero. the steering wheel is now very very heavy. Any advice or help would be very much appreciated, many thanks !
