  1. Jeff, we are looking to replace the glass bezel face the covers the fuel gage in our 98 986... I was detailing the car and the instrument cluster was fully removed for good measure, but a household object and a cat  interfered with it and this part of the glass is snapped. WONDERFUL :(

I read in the thread below that there might be hope. I already removed the bezel with a utility knife (may or may not have been the best thing but the cut is clean and will glue fine)

Where do i get a cut piece of clear plastic for replacement?

I borrowed your pic ... this is exactly what we're talking about here...

    Thanks

    Rob

  2. Just though I'd share some local business with the world. The Ultimate Garage is mainly a supplier of Facom tools and Lista Cabinets (nice stuff), but they also sell parts for Porsche, BMW, and MB.

Apperantly they outfitted Prestige Porsche (an excellent NY/NJ dealer)

But most importantly i wanted everyone to see this guy's personal garage re-design

    He's a porsche man B)

    enjoy

  3. Okay, here it is... it went pretty well.

I threw this page together so we could save some file space here (plus as a comcast customer you get 25megs of free webspace on their lagging servers, so what the heck... not a permanent solution but good for now)

Tool Pants and PorscheFan, thanks again for the information and insight.

  4. and I'm trying to figure out my options. I currently have grey partial leather interior, of which I'm changing to full black leather (barring a few grey leather accents).

I need to replace the grey flooring and door pieces with new black carpet and I've been unsuccessful in finding a supplier. I don't want to use my locar dealer if I don't have to...

    Any suggestions?

    TIA,

    Parker
