Jeff, we are looking to replace the glass bezel face the covers the fuel gage in our 98 986... I was detailing the car and the instrument cluster was fully removed for good measure, but a household object and a cat :oops: interfered with it and this part of the glass is snapped. WONDERFUL :(

I read in the thread below that there might be hope. I already removed the bezel with a utility knife (may or may not have been the best thing but the cut is clean and will glue fine)

I want to remove the boxster air intake facias from the rear quarter panels in order to make molds of them. I will be developing something custom and i'm not a huge fan of Techart or Tweeks intakes.

Is this possible without removing the rear quarter panels?

Just found a black set from a 1997 Boxster on eBay!

"Buy It Now" works like a charm in stituations like these :)

it definitely looks shorter than the turbo, maybe in the cockpit. perhaps the back "seats" really are missing. and the rims look like they're 17".

OK- what if the thread count on the left cable was slightly off from the original setting... a little on the short side?

This is what happened to me in HASTE :oops: last year. My shifter is slightly tilted toward the driver's side, but the play on the tranny is the same. Has this changed the dynamics/efficiency of changing gears?

Mark, thanks. I wasn't sure if 18X10s were too wide for the fenders.

I have an offset guide to help. Now the question is 18" or 19"... If the profile is too low, i'm gonna be kicking myself in the rear. NJ roads are HORRIBLE!

just recently the radio on my '98 2.5L began crackling, but only when on AM mode. It gets worse as my RPMs increase. Is this in fact the ground losening? :huh:

as I begin my interior customization project, I am in need of instructions to remove the dashboard and defroster(from the side air vent to the alarm light) pieces.

I already have instructions for the vents, center console etc. Just need to know how to remove the big boy...

and I'm trying to figure out my options. I currently have grey partial leather interior, of which I'm changing to full black leather (barring a few grey leather accents).

I need to replace the grey flooring and door pieces with new black carpet and I've been unsuccessful in finding a supplier. I don't want to use my locar dealer if I don't have to...

Any suggestions?
