  1. The four CD slots under your radio are for storage only. The upper right button on your radio will open the faceplate of your radio. There you will find the slot for CD's to be played one at a time. Load them with the label up. You can download a manual for your radio from the Becker website.
  2. Since the diameter of the tires are different, the difference between the two tires traveling 100 miles according to the speedometer and actual would be 101.19545726240287 miles. If this difference is outside of that allowed by the various control units in the car, the upgraded tires would not work because you would get warning lights or failure codes.
  3. Go to 986forum dot com and search for "Pedro Sport Exhaust" to see a members version of "Porshe Sport Exhaust".
  4. Overinflating tires will cause the center section to wear quicker than usual. Tire inflation should be as recommended for that tire. Underinflation will cause the outsides of the tires to wear prematurely. John
  5. I also have a '98 Boxster which had the CDR-210 (I have replaced that with the CDR-220). I purchased a Becker CD Changer from Fred Opert Racing (fredopertracing@hotmail.com) a couple of years ago. It included the wiring harness to the head unit as well as mounting hardware. Installation was fairly easy. Hope this helps. John
  6. Thanks Loren. Will give it a shot (of air). John
  7. Just got the CEL on my 1998 Boxster. OBDII reader shows P0446 (EVAP Canister Shutoff Valve (Function) - Below Lower Limit). What is it, and what must I do to fix it? Thanks, John
  8. I recently aquired a set of Speedster Humps for my 1998 Artic Silver Boxster. One of the clips through which a velcro strap goes to attach it to the roolbar is broken. What is the part number for that clip and what is the estimated cost to replace it? Thanks, John
  9. Purchase one for each side on flea-bay for total $50 (shipped). They work great after getting used to them. Initially depth perception is distractive.
  10. Windows XP enables you to use photos from your /my documents/my pictures folder as screensaver images. You could take several pictures of your 986 and download them to your computer, then activate the screensaver to display them. Or you could even save images that you see on the internet to the same folder and they would be available to be part of your screensaver images. I have been able to save many pictures that I currently use as part of my screensaver library. Contact me if you need more info. John
  11. I would love to help you out. assuming you are in So-cal.. right? PM me with where you at. Connector pin 6 on socket A for the original radio should provide the illumination connection that you're looking for.
  12. Porsche recommends M1 0w-40. Color of car doesn't matter.
