  1. So with some help from ECS Tuning I found out fuse 22 on passenger side fuse box keeps blowing. It doesn't blow until you turn on the seat warmer. Also it doesn't matter which one you turn on - you can turn on the driver first or passenger first and it will blow. Where can I look now? Do they have a relay that controls both seats? If so where? I know on the previous years its under the dash but when I looked on the relay box underdash mines empty vs the previous years in that particular spot there was a relay.
  2. hey man let me know where at.. im not far from duluth.. pm the info.. maybe i can look this weekend for you
  3. when i do put it on cd changer the box works with rca cables however i cant close the glove box.. i have not been able to get the aux cable to work though
  4. We just recently acquired a 08 CTT and I can't get the rear cd changer or head unit one to work. It has this aux usb cord in glove box but I can't get any sound out of it even when I set head unit on AUX. I also have a iPhone 4 fat blade style cord in glove box. I did buy a white and red RCA to 3.5mm jack to plug in to my phone and did get it to work however I can't close the glove box. Does anyone have any input?
  5. dealer recommends it every 48k or 6 years. It has a filter built inside the reservoir and supposedly the PDCC system is very sensitive to any dirt in the system.. $50 a sense of security is good for me.
  6. DIY 2008 CTT PDCC Reservoir Replacement Well I tackled this job today and it was super easy. I think all in all it took me about 20 minutes or so. I took pictures for anyone else that wants to do it themselves. I would recommend if you plan on doing the power steering reservoir then I would do it the same time. The reason why is you have to remove the PDCC reservoir out of the way to do the Power Steering reservoir. Both reservoirs are the exact same item, same part number and all atleast on my 08 CTT. 9. Based on this it looks like you can do it under the hood.. http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Porsche-Cayenne/63-ELEC-Charging_and_Jump_Starting_your_Cayenne/63-ELEC-Charging_and_Jump_Starting_your_Cayenne.htm
  10. Are you sure about that? From what I see the part numbers are the same for both the PDCC and Steering reservoir.
  11. I believe Porsche recommends to change the PDCC reservoir every 48k miles or 6 years. Does anyone know if you need to do the same for the power steering reservoir? If not I wonder what is the difference between having to do the PDCC reservoir changed vs the power steering?
  12. no codes or anything and runs fine.. just paranoid.. but its almost like a small knocking sound or valve clatter.
  13. I am not sure if I am being paranoid or what but I just bought this 2008 CTT. Can you guys listen and tell me if this sounds normal? PARTICULARY the passenger side of the engine.
  14. Hey guys i just got delivery of my new to me 08 CTT.. i am going thru the service records and about 12k miles ago when the previous owner took it in for service they replaced it with a Bosch plug part number 999-170-130-90. From what I read this plug is for the non turbo models.. Did they install the wrong plugs or should it still work fine on the Turbo model? If it is wrong does this harm the motor in any way?

  16. For those that did I have a question for you. What did you use to remove all the old rubber on the bearing of driveshaft.. I saw a video of a guy using cutting wheels and sanding it down with that.. I dont think I want to go that route..
  17. Well... We made the biggest mistake when we sold our 05 CTT to another member on the forum. We were going to buy a S63 AMG but end up missing the CTT so bad we got another. I just finalized and got a killer deal today on an 08 CTT with 85k miles.. A little on the higher mileage side but service history was impeccable. It is a 1 owner car since brand new and the dealer told me it belonged to a judge. I did a PPI at the local dealer it was serviced at and everything came back good besides normal wear and tear items. I have all 30 pages of every single service record since new. Water Distribution and thermostat/seal was changed at 63k miles.. High Pressure Fuel Pump was done at 55k miles.. rotors and pads were just done 3k miles ago.. The only thing I see that hasnt been done yet is the cardan shaft so I will go ahead and change it out with a EPS shaft support.
  18. Maybe this link will help the ones with the squeeky roof. I just bought a cayenne and was just reading up about it. Havent received the car but just doing my due diligence. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/cayenne/279212-09-cayenne-gts-creaking-panoramic-roof-silenced.html
  19. Thank you very much!!! i have the same issue and it was this hose. I will order a new one.. thx everyone who contributed!
  20. Also it should be normal at cold start for car to idle high at 1krpm then dropped down correct after about 30-40 seconds?
