  1. I am contemplating exactly this mod as I want to do a "Gundo Hack" but don't want to modify the original parts. Having been lucky enough to pick up a pair of back boxes that the seller had badly described as from a Turbo, I found that they do indeed have part numbers on them: 997.111.311.04 997.111.312.04 I know that this is an old post but hopefully, you or someone will be able to confirm whether or not the C4S tips went straight on? I have a C4S (2003) so if I understand this correctly..... I need to cut about 2 1/4" off of the inlet pipe from my 997 silencers and then just sort out the tips? I appreciate that this should be easy enough to check myself but it just won't stop raining!!! Cheers Blob
  2. I have now looped this out but I am still getting the error "Phone not availbale" on the PCM - did this happen to ayny of you? I received 3 calls on my Gateway 500S on the way home today and all callers complained bitterly about the call quality. I am getting really frustrated with this now. Possibly going to throw it straight back at Dension and go for the Mobridge!
  3. Thanks so much guys - I'll take a look tomorrow.... weather permitting.
  4. Hi guys, I have just got my first Porsche (996 C4S) and I am loving it! Can anyone tell me where the Phone module is located? I have PCM 2 with CD Changer and have fitted a Dension 500S BT which has been quite a trying experience (I once swore never to use Dension products again and am beginning to wish I had stood by that!) I need to "loop out" the factory phone module on the MOST bus in the hope of resolving one of my minor annoyances but I don't know where it is physically located. Any help would be gratefully received.
