I'm running Falken 452, they are cheap but I'm not 100% impressed with them. I had them on my 350Z as well which seemed to be ok, but a lot less power than the TT. I have heard really good results with the Hankook Ventus V12s as well, thinking these will be my next purchase. -
Check the Miata tire size calculator, lets you do direct comparisons. http://www.miata.net...e/tirecalc.html Its saying the 285/35 is 3.4% smaller so not the same ratio as 295/30. Will it cause problems? Well the rear tires will be smaller than the front if your running the 235/40 so there will be a variance between front and rear. Can the diffs soak up 3.4% change in ratio? Well, many guys go to the 315/25 and it's 3.2% larger and seems to be fine. So i'm guessing yes. Why not buy the proper size tire or are you getting a deal?

Check your coolant cap, they leak after time and you'll see a very small amount coming into the catch area but may not leak to the floor.
