  1. If you're interested in buying one here is a deal: 04 996TT with 199,723 miles on the clock. (yes that's not a type-o) http://inventory.racperformance.com/web/used/Porsche-911-2004-Carrollton-Texas/1301078/ Surprised that crappy turbo engine can go that long ;)
  2. I'm running Falken 452, they are cheap but I'm not 100% impressed with them. I had them on my 350Z as well which seemed to be ok, but a lot less power than the TT. I have heard really good results with the Hankook Ventus V12s as well, thinking these will be my next purchase.
  3. Check the Miata tire size calculator, lets you do direct comparisons. http://www.miata.net...e/tirecalc.html Its saying the 285/35 is 3.4% smaller so not the same ratio as 295/30. Will it cause problems? Well the rear tires will be smaller than the front if your running the 235/40 so there will be a variance between front and rear. Can the diffs soak up 3.4% change in ratio? Well, many guys go to the 315/25 and it's 3.2% larger and seems to be fine. So i'm guessing yes. Why not buy the proper size tire or are you getting a deal?
  4. Check your coolant cap, they leak after time and you'll see a very small amount coming into the catch area but may not leak to the floor.
