whatever replied to pigcorn's topic in 9PA, 9PA1 (Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Turbo S)I bought the Porsche rear mat and felt it was too much like hard plastic without nonskid. Thus, stuff still slide around in the back. I returned it and bought the Weathertech rear mats. Much better, nonskid and more rubbery. Highly recommend it. I have the Porsche floor mats for the driver/passenger cabin. Very thick rubber. Highly recommend it as well.
whatever replied to jvanquish's topic in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)I came from the 350z world as well. Once you get some seat time inside a 911, you'll notice that the Z took a lot of inspirations from the Porsche. None the less, check ebay or craigslist (depending on where you are at) I found mine under 40k with ~25k miles. There will be little quirks here and there and as long as the suspension, tires, and alignment are tune to the way you like it, the car drives like a dream. good luck with your search
whatever replied to calh4289's topic in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)did you have to remove the original rubber pad per the listing on ebay?
is it possible to fit the 02+ 996 cup holder on a 2000 996 dash? what is involved?
check fuse E6. Sometimes this might be blown. Not sure if this is the same for a GT2. Otherwise you might need to replace the solenoide valve (Also known as the bleeder valve). Part number 996 201 143 01 for c2/c4/TT. Not sure if it's the same for GT2. good luck!
I'm having the fuel filling issue. I can only fill it about .5 gallon before it clicks off. I'm suspecting the fuel bleeder valve have gone bad. I already checked and replaced the E6 fuse. (The fuse wasn't blown) I'm wondering if anyone knows how replace the fuel tank bleeder valve? Is it possible to do it from the fuel tank filler side? or do I have to go from the wheel well? Any tip is greatly appreciated. My car is out of warranty so I figure I try it myself. Where can I find a service manual for 2000 996 c2? thanks in advance.
whatever replied to whatever's topic in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)I'm having problem filling gas. Checked the E6 fuse already and it looks fine. Was thinking maybe the TSB 2015
