  1. Hello everbody, I'm looking for a circuit diagramm between Potentiometer and the headlamp alignment Actuator. My Porsche Cayenne is Mod. 2003 without Xenon. The problem is the following: If I move the potentiometer then one headlight goes up and the other goes down. That means somewhere is something wrong polarity. Basically i need the pin assignments from Potentiometer and the Headlight mounting plate plug (12-pin). For now I have the connector asignment for cars with xenon, but this is not the right because i think xenon works with PWM regulation. It would be great if someone could help. Thanks in advance. Gerd
  2. Yes, in the TSB is only decribed how to bridge the plug. This I have also made. Do you have an idea which cablecolor is + and which color is - ? I have two cable to the airbag (respectively to the triggering unit), one is blue and the other is black. By the plug description to the airbag triggering unit is indicated e.g. Pin41: Side airbag, driver's (positive) and Pin 42: Side airbag, driver's (negative). If I knew that I would lay a new cable.
  3. Hi there, the following problem , I get the error message side airbag (see Appendix ) . The normal use for one is to plug the bridge (due to contact problems = high impedance) . That 's what I did , unfortunately without success . It is a blue and a black wire available . Two wires (blue / black) go to the side air bag and two were supposed to go to the control unit. But do not do . When I connect , for example, the black wire under the seat with the meter and measure to the other line of the meter on the plug from the airbag control unit , then it beeps at pin 41 but also at pin 42 (about 1.7 ohms). At first I thought it must be a short circuit between the two wires , so I have also measured on the passenger side (45,46) , here just the same, only here do I measure exactly 1.0 ohms. So something is wrong with the driver's side , so far so good. What is missing with the color coding of the wires to the plug, because I do not want anpieken all Adrern . Can someone possibly help out with ? There are in the airbag connector cable bundle only two blue wires in place and they do not go to the seat so it must be a different color. The next question is where to go , the wires from the plug ? At the moment I am faced with a conundrum . Returns to my problem would be great , Thanks . RepSeitenairbag.pdf
  4. Hello George, I have the same problem with the side airbag. I have the two yellow plugs removed and the cable (Black and blue) soldered. But the error can not be erased with Durametric. That's why I soldered a three ohm resistor instead of the airbag. Unfortunately, without success. For this reason, I think that there is on the way from the driver's seat to the connector of the airbag triggering unit a cable break. So I'll have to disassemble the whole again and measure the ohmic resistance of the cable. Greeting Gerd
  5. Hello,I've bought a used Porsche Cayenne (V8). With fright I have seen that in my reservoir from power steering there is red Oil (probably ATF-Oil ?) instead of green oil (fully synthetic Pentosin CHF 11S). Has anyone ever replaced oil completely ? How can I change the oil? How can I make this (with which method ?) --> Vacuum method and refill, vacuum and refill ... ..or is there something like a drain plug?Unfortunately, the oil level is at the minimum (no oil loss, no steering problems). Should I only red oil top up again? Thanks for answers in advance.
