  1. reset per the manual BUT after opening either window it will come right back up rather than staying down untill door shut. 03-carrera coupe. Any suggestions?
  2. I smaked the passanger side outside mirror cracking the "housing" and broke the mirror!~ Purchased a used unit from a dismanteler, how do I remove/install?
  3. Nice install BUT does'nt the GPS unit need to be pointed stright ahead? If at an angle it would assume your pointed in a different direction.
  4. My new to me 02-c2 coupe with 8K miles has developed some small oil drips on the garage floor, dead center rear, usually only happens after a 100 mile trip and not around town driving. Could this be an RMS issue? I wouldn't think an 8K miles car would do this but maybe milage has nothing to do about it!
  5. My Boxster would run at 185 on the temp gauge. Now have an 03 C2 and the gauge is between the 185 line and the next line So I'd say it's around 195. Not sure if this too hot or not, the coolant is at min. after a drive so that may be the case of being hot and needs to be topped off. After shutting down the smell frm the engine smells a little like it does when the radiator has over heated. Any thoughs are appreciated!
  6. I'm told from the dealer new motor because of "poorly milled chain tower" which I have no clue as to what that is?
  7. A good relationship with a dealer service manager can yield this: 11/08/05 - battery replacement 10/20/05 - engine replacement 4/6/04 - throttle body replacement 8/1/03 - remote replacement 2/19/03 - backrest lever adjustment Now, this is an 02-cab "fair" price, 25K miles. Would you buy with a new motor or shy away?!
  8. I recently traded my 03-S Boxster which had Xenons for an 02-911 with no xenon, part of the deal was to upgrade the 911 to litronics for 1K The only difference is the upgrade kit is NOT self leveling like the factory installed xenons on the box. Here is a link to what you need: http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant...ategory_Code=WS Or www.suncoastporsche.com

  10. I'm told an old detail trick for that is vinigar which will remove the wather spots, however you will need to wax where the water spots were.
  11. Ok how do I find the offsets? All I know is the wheel/tire size I posted which came from the Tire Rack invoice which says nothing about offsets. These were on my 03-S Boxster. Thanks for any help!
  12. Purchased an 02-C2 and traded my 03-Boxster-S I have these winter wheel/tires from the box for winter and was wondering if they will fit the 911 (bolt/tire/wheel size) Front: 17x7.5 Rear: 17x9 Front: 205/50/17 Rear 255/40/17 Thanks
  13. Yup, did that and was a fair asking $ by the dealer, however, is there more room to move, both say "it's a starting place for price" And condition is excellent.
  14. Dealer is asking 55K for an 02-c2 coupe with 15K miles, Lapis with grey interior options: Equipment Features Rear spoiler (retractable) 17-inch Carrera II wheels Electric tilt/sliding sunroof 3-spoke sport steering wheel Telescopic steering column Side airbags Seatbelt pre-tensioners and belt-force limiters Automatic full climate control with charcoal filter Power windows w/one-touch up and down Power outside mirror left & right, heated Alarm system w/LED warning lights Key-activated Immobilizer w/central locking AM/FM cassette stereo w/anti-theft coding Lockable glove box Integrated two-stage cupholder Standard on-board computer Additional Equipment 762 - PAG Code - Carrera Facelift 446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest 696 - AM/FM Radio with CD Player M6P - Graphite Grey Floor Mat C02 - U.S. Standard/Emissions 476 - Porsche Stability Management 411 - 18" Lt Alloy Carrera Wheel P15 - Power Seat Package
  15. I am looking at an 02-03 c2 coupe and see no real difference except the year, both are equipted the same and same miles, also both are Porche certified, the 02 is 5K less in $ It seems a no brainer to go with the 02 Any feedback is appreciated
