Hi. I'm new to the forum. A while back my door locks stopped working. There is no resistance when I turn the key in the door (the remote lock hasn't worked since I bought the car a couple years ago something I'll remember to check in the future before I leave the dealership.) in any case I started to research the issue and found some information about an inexpensive fix using the locking mechanism from a VW passat. Needless to say I'm ready to purchase this part and attempt to fix the problem but I can no longer locate that post (not sure where it was posted). My question is if any of you guys are familiar with the issue and the resolution? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
