  1. So i have a Cayenne 2004 S and one day i just about ran it to empty... got fuel and drove about 20 miles until it started out of nowhere do bog down... until finally it wouldnt even start. So i took it to the dealer and he said its the primary fuel pump. So i took it from the dealer to fix it myself and replaced the main fuel pump and filter on the drivers side, and the flange on the passangers side. Now oddly enough the it takes time to start ( like a few seconds so that fuel can be delivered from the tank) and when i get to half tank it starves for fuel and i have to pull the fuse for one pump. Then if i run it to just before quarter tank it will not start again until i put gas back in it...... ugh can someone please help me identify the problem.... also i will be posting a detailed video on youtube on the pump and filter replacement very soon. thanx.
