oil leak, bank 2 camcover

I thought it seemed a little high since they were charging just about 8 hours to do it. Any recommendations on independents in atlanta? -
My 996 is leaking oil and its coming from the Bank 2 camcover. Dealer wants $100 parts and $815 for labor to do that job. Is this a DIY job or should i just let them handle it?

I installed the z1 in my 2000 996 a few months ago. I like how you used that bracket to hold the unit but i dont think i saw one in my 2000. i'm going to look again this weekend. Other then that it looks similar to my install. I'll try and take some pics of my install and post it here. (car is in the shop for oil leak) i like the way you made your custom face plate. i'm going to try that this weekend... Where did you put your mic? I hid mine behind that little pocket, left of the guages on the dashboard. It doesnt seem to work very good behind there.

CEL goes on and off

I have a MY2000 996 with 30k miles. My CEL turns on and then off after a few drive cycles. It has been doing this for a month. The codes i get are P0139, P0140, and P0446. I would like to try and replace the O2 sensor to get rid of the error codes P0139 and P0140. I believe this is the O2 sensor after the catalyst on the drivers side but can someone confirm this? And is there anything else i should check for? Also, are the aftermarket O2 sensors any better/worse than the Porsche genuine O2 sensors? I'm going to replace the gas cap and see if that fixes the P0446 code. What else can i check for before having to go into the shop? Thanks...
