The leather on the steering wheel on my Boxster is extremely dried and cracked. It should be replaced, but while I try to locate an affordable 3 spoke wheel and airbag, I would like to clean up this one. It is going to take much more than leather conditioner to treat this condition. The leather feels and looks rough, almost disenigrating on the top. Can it be sanded, followed by restaining? What would you recommend? Thanks, Joe
