  1. Thanks Maurice that was the post I was referring from. Should I change the resistor ballast? I already bought the resistor should I try it? How to remove the inner lining? Thanks for your help.
  2. Thanks, I know (19 low speed L),(20 high speed L),(21 low speed R),(22 high speed R). only 19 and 21 click when I activate durametric, but any fan won't run. Now, You mean switch 20 <--> 19 and 22<-->21? I did that before and no High speed activation on neither Fans. Only the Driverside Low speed Fan turn ON when Temp 18*0. Durametric don't Turn ON the high speed Fans... why? Here in Michigan is cold these season I mean coooold. Is that the reason? I read on a another thread here that High speed Fans turn ON on car start always. Is that true? Because mines are quiet. Need help on this
  3. Okay, I received my Durametric and perform the analysis. The engine module got a freeze frame data P1602. I run the car and let temperature to go to 180 as usual. The driverside Low speed Fan isn't running at 180, only the passenger side is good. Turn OFF the engine with switch ON and ran Durametric and perform the activation feature. Engine purge fan --> Ok Check engine light --> Ok Fan ---> Sent command sucessfully... but did not triggered any Fans. Where to start?
  4. Sorry to bother you guys, but I solved after disconnecting the battery. B)
  5. Ambient Temperature isn't read anymore on Instrument cluster. After a short winter my car don't show the temperature, only display "---". What can be the problem? Thanks in advance,
  6. Thanks Loren, I ordered the durametric, should be here this week. hopefully we can debugged the problem source more efficiently. No codes for fans OBD II is primarily emissions. I highly suggest finding someone with Durametric or a Porsche tester - that way you will diagnose and buy only what you need.
  7. Well, I did the hack on the relays and the fan isn't working. I don't have durametric for now, but I'll like to know if I can get the code on other OBD scanner.
  8. Can you tell which are the codes for Left cooling fan not working? Sorry for the mess.
  9. I'm still working here, the fuse c8,c10 are goods the relays clicks when finger is placed. now I'll do the hacking cables and figure if the fan actually works. <_<
  10. Hello Guys, I just saw in Ebay those beautiful tail lights LED for 99-04 Carrera 2 as mine. Any goods? No risk? It is compatible? or Any problem reported with this upgrade? Any mofidication required?
  11. Well, I give it a drive and let the engine ON with air conditiong OFF and couldn't neither percieved any of the fans except the engine fan. <_<
  12. Sorry Loren for not being specific. According to the mechanic the Left fan was not running.
  13. well, that was the story of my mechanic while serving it, but I ran the car for 10 mins and check the fans and both are working properly. What can be? or something to ignore?
  14. After replacing the new air compressor the left side air fan condenser is not working. where to start or proceed? Your help will be appreciated, Jose
  15. A good thing to learn here is not to replace only the air c. clutch, but replace the whole thing... NEW!!!! B) case closed!!!! ;)
  16. well, not good here, as soon as I put more refrigerant the air compressor start and broke the air compressor clutch again. Definetly this is an entire air compressor replacement plus will need to tow to the mechanic.
  17. Well, I sucessfully replaced the air compressor clutch, but the air compressor seems not working. Now what? Check the air compressor oil? Your help will appreciated. Thanks
  18. Thanks, Now that you mention oil quantities in the air compressor system, that will be my second step, check the oil.
  19. What's the chance that the air compressor clutch it self can be damage together with the air compressor? Right now, I can't tell if the air compressor is damage. I'm looking straight to replace only the air compressor clutch.
  20. I removed some parts here, take a look, got some doubts if the compressor suffer enough stress to blow seals, pressure lines or not. What's your opinion guys?
  21. You're right Loren, There's a tiny portion in the edge that is not reach by the pads, this can lead to inaccuracy. But a wide range in the safe parameters can rule it out.
