  1. 2006 997.1 S I'm installing an AIM Data logger and want to add some additional Oil Pressure Sensors for monitoring. I've been told that the OE location is in the upper right corner of the 456 Bank and that there is a tapped and plugged location on the lower right corner of the 123 bank. I figured that would work fir one and I was hoping to add an additional one somewhere that would give me a reading closer to the sump. The goal is to differentiate between G Force effected readings and if I'm running the sump dry. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark
  2. I installed the GT3 ducts in my 06 C2S. They are similar in size but a different shape that channels the air more directly. My car didn't have ducts in the rear so I installed the GT3 ducts there as well. The GT2 Ducts are designed to channel even more airflow but they are expensive and require modification to work.   3. My tech has dropped the pan and inspected everything to no avail. We did a compression / leakdown test... numbers looked good. Borescope, looked good. This isn't an uncommon problem. This is why many people get an accusump but I was hoping the deep sump would be enough since so many people told me that with it they had no pressure issues. I'm just kind of reaching my troubleshooting limits here.
  4. I'm not on slicks but am running pretty sticky tires. AD08R's and can get about 1.2 G's out of them. I've thought about the oil circulation issue but if it was a passage or pump issue, why would it only effect right turns and not lefts or straights. I've got a thread going on the RL DE forum but haven't gotten much other than similar tales from others.
  5. I have 997.1 S and am trying to understand how the scavenger pump system works. I'm getting oil pressure drops in right handed sweepers and have heard it's due to the way the scavenger pumps return oil to the sump. Left handed sweepers are not an issue. Is there one pump per head? Is the right side on the rear, left side up front?What's the purpose of the Bilt LN Engineering Dual Scavenger Pumps?Why does RPM effect the pressure when combined with G Forces one direction and not the other?Thanks
