  1. My rear spoiler abruptly stopped working. I have a 2004 4S cab. Fuse is fine. Wont extend or retract. Even with the switch. Error message on dash lights up at 74 mph's. Goes our after turning off and restarting the car. Any suggestions?
  2. Driver side belt is slow to retract or hangs. Any suggested fixes is much appreciated.
  3. I'm thinking of respraing my front bumper cover. Lots of DIY's for removal, but is there any tips for removing all the plastic bits - vents and trim?
  4. The lower left corner is loose and sticking out. I'm looking to snug it up some.
  5. Never mind. I got it off. Remembered my torque wrench. Worked like a charm. I haven't driven with the ask, but I like the snick, snick, snick!
  6. I got a 997 ssk for Christmas. Have it all installed, but I can't get my shift knob and boot off the old shifter. The set screw won't budge. It's a torx 15. Bent a couple of wrenches and I don't want to strip it. Tried some penetrating fluid and no luck. Any ideas?
  7. One more part # question Loren. How about a 10mm battery terminal nut and bolt?
  8. Thanks. I should of been more clear. Does anyone know what bolt I need? I think it was maybe 50mm long with a washer?
  9. Just jumping in with a question. Mine runs just over 180 according to the gauge. Is that ok?
  10. So I decided to go with a Bosch Platinum H7. $165 shipped. It's an AGM battery, which I read is better. Plus, it's really nice looking too. Although no one will ever see if.
  11. Thanks guys. I'll try a new battery first and hope that resolves the problem. My battery is 4.5 years old and due for a change. As for size, I've read the 49 may be too big. I may check the 94R or just go with the 48.
  12. My 4S wouldn't start the other day. Put it on a trickle charge. It now reads 12.3v at the terminals. I thought I read somewhere it should be 12.6v for a fully charged battery. I know there is a ton of threads on the subject. Price is not my concern. I'm thinking of just buying a new battery. Should I get a 48 or 49? Pepboys has a Bosch platinum 49 850cca. It's huge and 52lbs. Or Bosch premium 48 650cca and 36lbs. BTW - This is not my DD.
  13. Thanks Loren. No aero kit. I'm thinking I might need the turbo cover since the 4s has the same body other than the fixed spoiler.
  14. There is a black trim piece/gasket on the lower leading edge of my headlight - 04 4S. It's separating some from the bumper cover. Nothing major, but I just don't like the gap. Can anyone tell me how to repair it? Do I need to take off the bumper? I believe the replacement part number is - 996-505-741-02. Thanks.
  15. I know this is a pretty vague description. If it helps, it's more of a ticking than a rattle.
  16. I have an 04 4s cab. I've noticed a small rattle coming from the back of the car. It goes away when I come to a rolling stop. I'd say it's from the engine bay of exhaust. Not a heat shield rattle though. Any suggestions?
