  1. My '05 Cayenne turbo has had the coolant pipes replaced and supposedly had all plastic t-junctions replaced. I'm replacing the coolant overflow tank and cap as a preventative measure and stumbled upon this cracked tube and plastic t. Here are pictures of each. Is this coolant related? Should I replace this plastic tube? I have seen a fix for a cracked plastic tube where the guy bought a larger diameter tube and clamped it over the smaller cracked plastic tube. Would this work? Thanks a lot. I'm just leaving the Cayenne in pieces until I can figure this out and make the appropriate fix. General overview shot of the area. Also, what is the silver cylinder on the passenger side of the vehicle that was bolted to the torque strut mount? Here is the plastic T. Here is the split plastic tube:
  2. I drive mine 90% of the time in the city and get 12.5 mpg no matter what. I get about 16 on the highway at 65mph. 2005 turbo.
