after re-listening it does kind of sounds like air escaping. Maybe a pressure test / smoke test of the intake....5 psi or so with a rubber clove on the intake....

I have that same noise. Changed all the pulleys. Still there. Next is the AC compressor.
Maybe it's because your oil cap is on upside down. [emoji23]

Thanks. Both responses are helpful I do know the service manager, but he doesn't seem to be much help. I will use your suggestions and report back when I have resolution.

Hello
I have been having the usual battery issues with my 2008 Cayenne TT. Hard steering on first start up, intermittent headlight faults, hard starting and the tailgate not opening when the battery is low. Tried charging the battery overnight and it still wont charge always sits below 12 V.
Took the battery to Porsche as it still under warranty and asked for a replacement. They tested and said nothing was wrong with the battery. Took the battery to Napa to have them load test it, and they said it didn't pass.
Replaced with a NAPA legend premium AGM. Since then all my issues have disappeared.
I took the Porsche battery back to Porsche and ask them to test it one more time, and they still say there's nothing wrong with the battery.
I would like to escalate this issue to Porsche Canada but I'm not sure how that can be done. Does anyone have any experience when dealing with the dealer and their parts counter with such an issue?

As you can see the seat is back in and now functional. It's missing the trim. Will order it. Also found a bolt stuck in the seat rail which was stopping the seat from moving properly. And I made about 8 bucks in change falling out of the seat.

Okay, here is the finished product. Not sure if I'm fully satisfied. I might try painting the entire unit on not just the levers.
It does look better than it did, but I really don't like the rubber coating on everything in this car as it marks up very easily.

Not much accomplished today as I ended up having to do an alternator on my wife's car after nearly getting stranded this morning.
Remanded and primed and painted.
Also I had the seat out to deal with a power issue. So I repainted the floor as it looked like the seats had been in and out a number of times carelessly.
Also looming all of the wires, but ran out of loom. Back to the store tomorrow.

Wow. That's crazy. How long did it take to get that bad?

I got tired of the peeling finish that was wearing off the levers for opening the trunk and hood. I tried sanding it down and it still didn't look right. I took it apart and filled the scratches and indentations and primed them for paint. Matte black is the plan.
Paint tomorrow and will update the post.

Buy a new one and replace it. I think they are only about 175.

I just did my bulbs recently (not ballasts) and no calibration was needed. Are you sure you installed the bulbs and got them connected fully? Also, make sure the the housing is seated properly when reinstalling the headlight.

I could use someone in calgary as well. Kijiji has a few ads for people claiming to have capability. Maybe we could split the cost?

Just did mine. It will fit out the back above the pipes and come out by the transmission. What a pain tho.

No codes that I know of. No CEL. Just rough idle / lower than normal.

Loren - I have a similar issue. Any details on how to replace 948-105-308-03?

There are 4 bolts that secure the roof over and mine had rattled loose. They can be seen from the inside and are horizontal.

Press TEL, scroll to phone book, click wheel and select each one and delete it. Then try and pair.

Delete out all the old phone books first as it only has room for a few phones. Then pair using the passcode.

Relay or the wiring is loose that connects into the rack. This can also be caused by a weak battery.
