  1. So I finally got around to pulling the Driver-Side dash speaker to have a peek at what's beneath. I think my plans of installing a specialized 4" driver are kaput. Here are the driver specs (it's actuall 57.9mm mounting depth)... In the dash, I'm not sure what I'm looking at but it doesn't look like it can be moved. Does anybody still make a spacer or baffle of some sort to allow room for larger drivers?
  2. Hey Guys- I want to gain some space in the front trunk of my '03 Boxster S, so I'm removing the spare tire. However, as seen in the photo, the large, threaded bolt remains. Has anyone else removed this, and if so, how did you go about it? It seems two be two pieces, with the bolt threaded into a plate, but I can't get enough grip on it to separate them - appears to have Loctite on it. Before I start pulling carpet, looking to pull the bolt from behind, I'm hoping someone has some insight. Thx.
