Thanks for the response Raffi. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was going to chime in. I checked with a few others with aftermarket fixed wings and they also have their fans on at all times. This must be a normal occurence. So, I guess that if you either code the wing out or switch the harness, then you will have the fans on at all times while the car is cranked. thank you cpturbo

I own a 2005 997 S. In preparation for a future installation of the Factory Aerokit, I had my local Porsche dealer use the PIWIS tester to code my rear wing to be fixed. It no longer goes up and down. The kit is not yet installed and I have found the strangest thing. The engine lid fan is always on, except when the car is off. It is near 40 degrees here in Nor California, so I know the car is not running hot. The radiator fans at the front of the car are not always on, just the lid fan. I used the harness with part number 99761267071 per the instructions for aerokit installation and the fan continues to operate. I searched and checked all those sensors and grommets and such as per Loren's advice. So, those with a dealer installed factory aerokit, can you all check and see if your fans are always on, too.
