  1. That is what I was wondering if it was for also. The trouble is being a "old guy" I do not own a MP3 player to test it with. Greg
  2. Hi, I'm the new owner of a 1999 Porsche 996 and I have a problem. There is a button on the lower part of the center console on the left side that I don't know what it is for and need some help. It is a round rocker two position switch located where the driver's heated seat button would be. Across from it is a plugin jack for what appears to be a MP3 player or earphones connection. The mounting panel matches the interior and is made for these two items. Heated seats are not listed on the build sheets and I don't notice any changes when I switch the switch on. If anyone has any ideas I would like the help. Thanks in advance! Greg
