Perhaps I should rephrase the question: Are tinted windows prohibited during track events?

depends on the event, but for the most part, it shouldnt be an issue, unless there is alot of difficulty seeing into the car.

unfortunately there needs to be modifications for it to work and fit properly.

as the GT2 has a vent for the air, the center radiator has to be modified, also there are diffrent mounts.

its a fairly standard job however, as many people choose to do this to their turbos.

GT3 seats, marvelous improvement over the OEM seats, and not restrictive like the sports seats,

rollbar/6 point harness

theres a bunch of small mods that are good, clear sides, bumperplugs, painted rear mini-bumpers.

after those, spend some time getting accustomed to the car before starting the first round of major mods, that way, you can progressively get a feeling of whats improving and what needs improvement

when the mods start, go with either PSS9, or OEM X73 turbo suspension

then you can get a chip, which is good for a fairly large power gain, and exhuast, i suggest europipe/RUF

you probably still need to get it programmed in, even though it functions, in order to get 'full' functionality.

for example, you probably need that to get the OBC to display PCM nav instructions.

you may have messed up the teeth of the gears, or the synchros...

in california, 91 octane is fine

there are some stations more inland that offer 93 though, but as i said, 91 octane is fine,

anything lower than 91, the engine will begin to lose power (but will NOT be damaged)

it says in the manual that the engine has EKC, electronic knock control, that will automatically retard timing, etc to compensate for gasoline quality. thus, you can't really damage the car with 89/87, but it is not recommended for anything resembling optimum performance.

apparently this problem only applies to PCM1,

on 2003 and after cars, the PCMII (2) unit is VERY easy to add into the new MOST digital bus system, and requires minimal labor.
