  1. Not much has changed since my original post a little over a year ago. I bought the "kit" from Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota Florida. It came with no instructions or part numbers. The only photo i have is the one shown above. I doubt you will have much luck getting information out of Porsche, unless you have a good friend in the service department. Sorry I can't be of more help. FYI, I'm still running mine "unplugged". It sounds great, runs great, and I can't see tearing my wife's car apart to install a button that we will probably never push. Good luck
  2. Here is a photo of the 981 PSE "kit" except for the mufflers themselves. My box included no instructions or parts inventory. It looked like the box had been opened but I have no reason to believe that instructions had ever been included. Just FYI, I was able to install the exhaust in well under three hours, including running around town to borrow a "flange tool" to spread the tail pipe to make it much easier to put on. It was all done on 7" ramps and two jackstands used only to support mufflers. The mufflers came off and went on with no clearance issues whatsoever. I didn't even have to remove the wheels, due partially to the fact that the car has 20" Carrera wheels and I was able to reach through the wheel to gain access to the left upper exhaust bolt. If I had the option to use a lift or the ramps, I would use the ramps, unless I had a helper/ holder.
  3. Greetings everyone, I could use some help with a 2014 981S DIY PSE install. After much research I decided that the PSE was the way to go because of it's obvious options. In my mind, the PSE button install and ECU Flash sounded too much like Brain Surgery, involving the ECU in too much decision making. Either open the valve and make it loud, or close it and make it quiet. Gert Carnewal's FOB kit sounded like a perfect, easy solution. Just bolt on new mufflers, plumbing, and actuator kit. No interior demolition or ECU flash. My problem is that after buying the PSE "kit" through Suncoast, (nice guys) it came with no directions. After spending numerous hours reading through the entire internet, I have been unable to find any instructions on the PSE install. The kit came a plethora of hoses, Y & X connectors, and actuator valve. The Porsche Service department has all the information on a PDF file, but is reluctant to share. I know it's out there, somewhere, I just can't find it!!! All I need is instructions on plumbing of the control valve & to exhaust butterfly, also torque specs of exhaust flange. If anyone could share this secret information I would be forever grateful. My hope is to photo and post a step-by-step for anyone wishing to do the same. Cheers, Kurt
