  1. Very helpful gents - now looking for a good battery [recommendation welcome, it's a 2009 997.2 911 C4S]. Going to replace it DIY and post the outcome. Thanks.
  2. That might just save me a whole lot of $$$ as I was thinking of calling the local porsche dealer and getting the car flatbedded to the workshop. But isn't it strange that those tell tale lights still come on? Is it because the battery has some life left but more or less dead. It is a 2009 with 27k miles on it... so likely that's the case.
  3. My 2009 997.2 911 C4S won't start. It's sparingly used - but definitely driven once in two weeks. Had a break of 3 weeks and when I tried to start, had some sort of an electronics brown out. Car just won't start and I got these error messages. Also the spoiler went up and stayed there. After a few more tries, the side windows went down automatically. I'm suspecting the battery is dying [it's now hooked up to a trickle charger, but maybe its too late?]. Also, I just did an engine oil change by myself - can that really cause these error codes?
