  1. I am beginning to believe this as my mrs had the whole system shut down on her the other day. HUR on the way.
  2. I 'think'this is related to the GPS rollover that happened recently. There are only so many weeks in the GPS file structure, the field that contains the week number is a 10-bit binary number. This limits the range of the week number to 0 – 1023, or 1024 total weeks. GPS week zero started January 6, 1980. The 1024 weeks counter ran out and rolled over on August 21, 1999. The week counter then reset to zero, and it has been recounting ever since. The next rollover to zero was on April 6, 2019. Units need a firmware update. Porsche have deleted the date when you update the software as a work around.
  3. Top shock mounts, front and rear they degrade over time too. Sorry should have explained better.
  4. Don't forget that mounts wear out too, new engine and gearbox mounts will make the car feel better. New top mounts as well.
  5. Why not just get the lead back from your friend? I would be very unhappy if someone borrowed my kit and didn't return it.
  6. Cabs are quite well known for holding water behind the rear seats, this gets into the electrics, i have pasted a very useful thread below, but if you search on here a little further it is pretty much explained in other threads too.
  7. Welcome. Where are you in the UK? I am from Bristol, 05 997c2s silver.
  8. Managed to use the PIWIS to cycle the solenoids and check the wiring. Alla seems good. No obvious damage. Bank 1 Specified -0.93725 Actual -0.7656 Deviation -0.5938 Bank 2 Specified -0.9375 Actual -1.2500 Deviation 0.0625
  9. Work has meant that I haven't yet got to look at the car, the wife uses it as her daily. The check engine visit workshop hasn't come back, but I am still going to check everything as soon as I get the chance.
  10. Thankyou. You guys are great. I will check the sensor and wiring to it, on the front of the engine and the brackets and wiring for the two on the cam cover.
  11. Thankyou. I will take the mufflers off and have a look at the bracket suggested by jfp and jl-c.
  12. In all of the three above, the difference between the actuals and the specified isn't the same as the deviations????? The deviations are staying at static values. I am Confused.
  13. A few more revs Bank 1 Specified -29.3594 Actual -27.0313 Deviation -1.2500 Bank 2 Specified -29.3594 Actual -30.2344 Deviation 0.1094
  14. With about 3000 revs Bank 1 Specified -23.3359 Actual -21.7188 Deviation -1.2500 Bank 2 Specified -23.3359 Actual -20.7031 Deviation 0.1094
  15. Idle, both banks. Bank 1 Specified -1.0000 Actual -0.8281 Deviation -1.2500 Bank 2 Specified -1.0000 Actual -1.1875 Deviation 0.1094
  16. Thanks, I didn't have the time to take the exhaust off, so did what I could in the time available. The muffler and hangar are going to have to come off to get access. I will bet it sounds great with it off mind . Idle, both banks.
  17. The connector. I didn't short the connector. Or check the resistance of the sensor. I've put it back together now.
  18. I can't see how to get the sensor out without dropping the exhaust and I have to get to work. The clip.
