  1. Finally I’m getting around to some much needed work on my cayenne
  2. 2002 C2 manual: Problem: when parked outside in freezing temperatures, oil leaks from the lower oil pump connector, item 7 in diagram below. When parked in a warm environment, it remains dry. Anyone had that problem? Should I replace the gasket #8? M96.01/02/03 Oil Pump M96.04 WWW.AUTOATLANTA.COM
  3. Other than Porsche dealers what are some other good part suppliers in the US? ALSO: I just purchased this 944 and the owners manual is missing....wondering if anyone can scan the pages in the owners manuals that describes each button, dial, etc. on the dash and center console?
  4. I wonder if anyone reads these.... I am hopeful. :) I have a 2008 Cayenne GTS with an awesome manual transmission. I can not find much of anything on when to replace the transmission fluid... nor how to replace the fluid. I am quite familiar with the automatic transmission fluid change (in my previous CTTS), there is next to no documentation on the manual GTS. I have searched google and the forums for some answer or clue.... nadda. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Hi Anybody have the Cayenne 2004 workshop/repair/service manual in PDF-format? Possible to "borrow" it? That would be very happy  Please PM if you don't want to reply in this thread. There are a lot of places on the internet to buy the manual, but don't know the quality of these. Have read people have had mixed experiences with these. The "original" should have at least 9700 pages. Best regards, Kjetil, Norway
  6. Hi all, I am new to the forum and the Porsche community! I am currently in the market for a 996 911 C4S. I located an EXTREMELY clean C4S with the following options and specs. Because I am new to the community, I am not exactly sure what it is worth. It seems there is a large discrepency between one comparable car to another on eBay (sold listings). 2003 911 C4S •75,XXX miles •Manual transmission •Little to no cosmetic or mechanical flaws - interior and paint look brand new •All services up to date (IMS issue not resolved...) •Carrera White Exterior •Natural Brown Leather Interior Options: XPA - Thicker Steering Wheel XE8 - Dark Burr Maple Gear Lever XE9 - " " Hand Break X45 - Colored Instrument Dials X99 - Natural Leather Interior 288 - Headlamp Washer 446 - Wheel Caps With Colored Porsche Crest 680 - Bose Sound Opinion on value? Thanks everyone for you time, BB
  7. I've got an annoying clacking noise coming from my engine at idle on my 2008 Carrera 2S, 6spd. The noise seems to go away when the motor is rev'd. The car has 86K miles on it, but still runs very strong and uses no oil. Just had serpentine belt and idler arms/tensioner replaced, but noise still there. I've seen on other blogs where this is "normal." Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks in advance for inputs.
  8. Bentley has just come out with a new service manual for the 993 (1995 to 1998). They have an introductory special price of $149 95 (regular price will be $219.95). You can order at the special price below: http://www.bentleypublishers.com/porsche/repair-information/porsche-911-993-1995-through-1998-repair-information.html Download the announcement flyer here: bentley_p998_new.product.announcement.pdf
  9. I just purchased a 2009 Carrera S Cabriolet (from dealer) but appear to have the PCM 3.1 manual from a later model (dated 04/11 inside). The part number I have is WKD 952 221 12. Would appreciate getting the correct part number for my model year (unless there have been no changes). Thx
