Hello. I'm a new member to the forum having just recently bought my first Porsche, a 2006 Cayman S with sport chrono. Fortunately the car came with all manuals except for the PCM 2.1 manual. I've scoured the internet and can't find any working links to the PCM 2.1 manual, or any insight into my question...which is...can someone tell me how to get to the individual settings menu? My car currently locks when the car is in motion, and the thermostat is always set to 72 degrees. I know these are settings that can be changed in the Individual Settings menu, I just can't find it. Any help woul
Hello! My PCM 2.1 on my 2005 Cayenne Turbo has exclamation warning symbols as if there is an error [Please check pic]. Firmware for both PCM and Navi DVD unit were upgraded, but still the error remains. I checked it with the Durametric Pro but doesn't seems to fix the issue. Any ideas? And if the old "take-it-to-the-dealer" "Use PIWIS" suggestion or advice can be avoided much better... Thanks!!!
I have a 2005 Cayenne S and the Nav thinks it is in the Atlantic Ocean. I get 0 Sat 0D-GPS on the info screen. Also the compass in the dash cluster always reads north. It still tries to navigate, but is several hundred miles off. I have checked the gps connections and they seem fine, but the compass makes me think that the GPS antenna may not be my issue. I believe it is pcm 2.1 as it uses nav DVD located under passenger seat. Any suggestions or help is appreciated.
Hello, I am new to the forum. I have a 2006 Cayenne S which i love, however I can not enjoy it now because of a faulty PCM 2.1 ... During the end of the summer it was restarting from time to time (twice in a month or so). I thought it was overheating after reading this forum. Few month ago the situation got worse and the unit was restarting every hour. Sometimes it was impossible to turn it on for couple of hours/days. Now the PCM is completely dead and it's impossible to turn it on in any ways. I was hoping that it will be case of dry solder so I tried to reheat it with heat gun... Howeve
