I am busy installing a NAV TV iPod adapter to my 07 3.4S Boxster 987 PCM 2.1 system and I need to find a switched power source for the bluetooth adapter that I have coupled to it. I thought the power out from the wiring bridge connector (used at the back of the PCM 2.1 unit) that came with the NAV TV system would provide a switched power connection however I realise now that the power on/off signal comes from the MOST fibre connection while power to the loom stays on. Does anyone know where the best place is to take a switched power tap from? Many thanks
Hello! My PCM 2.1 on my 2005 Cayenne Turbo has exclamation warning symbols as if there is an error [Please check pic]. Firmware for both PCM and Navi DVD unit were upgraded, but still the error remains. I checked it with the Durametric Pro but doesn't seems to fix the issue. Any ideas? And if the old "take-it-to-the-dealer" "Use PIWIS" suggestion or advice can be avoided much better... Thanks!!!
I have a 2008 Boxster S with PCM2.1 and Bose. I have ordered an isimple bluetooth adapter that has an FM antenna bypass. I know I need adapters for the antenna but I don't know which ones. I've searched all over google but all I can find are adapters for 2004 and older Boxsters. I don't know if the antenna is amplified or not and I don't know what type of plug the Bose unit uses. Does anyone know what I need to buy?
