I need to get my rear window stitched on my 2000 cab. Looking for a referral in San Jose, CA / Bay Area. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance
Help! The felt rubbing strips on my cabriolet 996 rear 1/4 windows have worn down to the rubber so I contacted Porsche who sold me the trim strips for a very reasonable £27 each side... All good I think and set about changing them..... Dilemma! There appears to be no way to remove the trims from the alloy carrier bonded to the glass despite the trims themselves looking like they simply slide in. Phone call to Porsche, "no we don't know" so my question is simple...... Does anyone have any experience of doing this job and can they shed some light? To clarify the position I'm talking about the felt strips which the front windows run over as they are closing not the window seal to the rear 1/4 panel. Regards
