Can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic trim piece that encases the rear seat belt tensioner on my 2004 996 Targa? I found/removed the screw at the very back that's under the rearmost piece of carpet. There's a clip or something else closer to the front of the car that's still holding it in place though, and I can't see it. I don't want to just start pulling and break it...
Hello to all, I am looking for a part for my right headlight. It's the plastic chrome looking oval plug that sits in the middle of a 2002 911 headlight assembly. It snaps in and out easily, but, the plastic prongs on the back of mine broke. I've attached a few pix to show what I'm talking about. It is stamped as part number 153 034-00, however, that doesn't seem to come up with anything when I search. I've made some calls and people seem to only want to sell this piece with the entire headlight assembly--which is obviously a pricey fix. Does anyone know the name of this piece? Does anyone know where to find a replacement? Thanks in advance! DK
I am planning on changing my bumpers on a Porsche boxster 987 first generation. would it be possible to install second generation bumpers. are the bolts in the same position are the lines for tail lights and headlights the same???.
I have a 2001 Carrera Cab. The rear piece that covers the pop-up roll bars is loose on the driver side. I have accessed an online repair manual that says to remove the interior rear trim behind the rear seat backs. The manual says to simply remove the two screws hold the trim panel and then "detach the auxilarry frame" (don't know what that means). Once the panel is out, I should be able to see the fasteners that hold the roll-over cover in place. Has any one had experience with removing this cover or the interior trim? Any help appreciated, Thanks j-mann
