Radio stopped working

Recommended Posts

Radio stopped working on my 2003TT. There is power but no "Porsche" on the display or audio. I remember a couple of weeks ago, it made a clicking noise when I entered the car. Did it a couple of times. Anyone had this problem? Is still under warranty but I'm curious.

I have the same sympton on my radio too <_< . It makes clicking noise sometimes when the door opens. But mine still working. I was wondering why and how to eliminate this problem.

Thanks

Most of the time the dealer has to replace the radio or amp. As I recall it's been more amps than radios. MY03 was a bad year for amps (IMHO).

Thanks for the reply Lauren. I will take it in and let you know the outcome. Edwin.

  • 10 months later...

I have an 02 turbo and left the key in the ignition thus running the battery down. I jumped the car to start it and now the radio will not turn on. It does not power up. I have checked the fuses and they seem ok......Help!!!

Any lights?

Does it ask for the security "CODE"?

If not, check the fuse on the back of the radio.

The radio has no power at all so it does not ask for the code. Does changing the fuse on the radio entail pulling the radio? If so, is a special tool required?
