If they are 7 and a half inch or eight inch fronts they'll go straight on. If they are 10 inch backs you'll need an 18 mm spacer. The offsets are 55/50 on the Boxster and 50/65 on the 996 (from memory, it might be 50/55 on the Box but I don't think so). Ideally, you'd be looking for 9 inchers on the back on the Box to get rid of the spacers.

This assumes Porsche wheels and not replicas...

Hi Paul,

Thank you for the reply. Yes, they a factory originals. I've e-mailed the buyer and want to take a look a them before I purchase (if not, no deal). I believe on the inside they'll have a marking w/ the manufacturer and I think these are made by BBS.

Regards,

David

They'll have Porsche numbers, size and offset marked if they are Porsche wheels (e.g my current 996 set are: 993.362.134.06, 7.5J, ET50; 993.362.140.04, 10J, ET65).

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the advice. I bought some used 996 Carrera Sport Design II's (7.5 x 18 and 10 x 18). The rear wheels has 65 mm offsets and I just ordered 18 mm H&R spacers w/ longer wheel bolts. I hope these will fit fine without any rubbing.

Regards,

David

Hi sorry if this is the wrong place to post this!

993.362.134.06 7.5J x 18 ET50 FRONTS

993.362.140.04 10J x 18 ET65 REARS

I dont know the official name of these wheels I am only have a picture and the part numbers given.

Will these go straight on to my 2.5 late 1998 Boxster? I currently have 17in standard Boxster Alloys.

Thank you.

Lee
