Porsche (Boxster) Carbon Interior

Are the components made totally out of carbon fibre or are they carbon bonded over a standard plastic item?

Does anyone have any pics of the reverse side of any?

Porsche does it the same way we do. Laminated Carbon over existing parts.

We factory-match the grain/texture/color and finish exactly like the factory, putting it right over the existing part. The only difference is our 3-stage clear allows ours to age perfectly, whereas much of the factory carbon turns yellow.

These are 997 parts. The grain it completely different from 996/986 carbon, which we also stock.

Ive just started improving my very bland interior and bought some door 'bin lids' and handle surrounds off ebay, but expected them to be made totally from CF. They are exactly as you describe though - carbon over standard item so thats ok.

Think I need a couple of bits for the dash now....
