Cay 2006 CD Changer Questions

Hi, I have a Cay S 2006 model with PCM and Bose. I would like to add the CD changer to this. The questions I have are:

1. Price and Availability

2. Does the CD changer play mp3 like th in-dash cd does?

3. Would I still have access to the in-dash CD player.

I understand the install is plug and play. Is that correct?

The changer is plug'n play. They cost around $700 but try ebay. No they do not play mp3's, and yes you can use both the dash player and the changer.

It is plug and play but your have to remove many pieces of trims to have the change put in.

My dealer told me that starting with 2006 it is plug and play.

I have the shelf and cables waiting in the back in my 06 955.

They sometimes also have trouble playing burned (homemade) audio CDs. Some of my CDs work and some don't - haven't figured out yet why.

Pressing the CD button on the PCM repeatedly will alternate between the in-dash player and the changer.

Absolutely. And it will display the name of the file playing so it would be good if you name your files with the artist and song title.

I believe it will also play wma files but I have not tried it yet.
